1. Support the implementation of the following activities under the supervision of the Project Officer:
• Establishment of CMMAs selection committees
• Organization of workshops with CBOs and CMMAs committees
• Organization of training for CBOs and CMMAs
• CMMAs selection assessment and any other needed assessment
• Informative sessions and Focus Groups Discussions
• Performance assessment sessions with CBOs
• CMMAs selection ceremonies
• Job fairs
• CMMAs networking and mobilization
2. Monitoring of CMMAs activities
Collect data, supervise and support CMMAs activities in collaboration with CBOs:
1. Collecting price monitoring data in WFP and non-WFP shops in collaboration with and supervision of WFP and CP;
2. Contribute to community sensitization efforts on different aspects of WFP’s work, the dissemination of information at the community level;
3. Run communal complaint and feedback desks to receive beneficiary and non-beneficiary feedback for those who may not be able to access the hotline (limited phone access) and/or find the community level approach more efficient. CMMA participants will record and respond to complaints
4. Conduct regular programme assistant/monitoring tasks with WFP and the CP - such as data cleaning, field monitoring, etc.
3. Regular communication
• Participate in team meetings to reach program decisions on potential CBOs and CMMAs
• Coordinate with other programs serving refugees and asylum-seekers that may be complementary or synergistic.
• Establish good and regular communication with project beneficiaries, CMMAs, CBOs, ACTED partners and various service providers.
• Establish good communication and coordination with all ACTED departments (WASH, AME, Social Mobilization, Livelihoods) and project staff
• Strictly follow the ACTED internal procedures and guidelines.
4. Reporting
• The Social mobiliser is responsible for preparing accurate, honest, and timely reports of their individual activities. In particular this includes maintaining signed records of the engagement and activities with the community.
• The Social Mobilizer is also encouraged to prepare written reports of the results of their activities, assessments and observations.
Social Mobilizer should be available to support any other task necessary to carry out food assistance project implementation if and when requested by Project Officer, Food Assistance Project Manager and Food Security Program Manager
