Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop SOPs and IPs that are user friendly and comprehensive that enhance efficiency, effectiveness and accountability and review effectiveness of the internal control systems and monitor compliance
• Monitor the implementation of the set SOPs and IPs, ensuring compliance and constant planning for improvement
• Run the periodic Internal Audits to identify strengths and areas needing improvement, implementing the corrective and preventive actions plan
• Work on securing an agreement with a certifying body to obtain the ISO accreditation, through a plan of training, orientation, periodic internal and external audits
• Increasing staff morale and internal communication in close coordination with the Communications Department
• Improving communication across the JRF - internally
• Conduct training for staff on quality assurance concepts, tools and mechanisms as well as follow up to ensure it is activated
• Ensure all written materials are of high quality both content and language, as well as tone of language.
Self-Management:
• Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all competencies and skills required to perform the role
• Sets performance goals in the beginning of the year after discussion with the Reporting Manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year
• Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the Reporting Manager to ensure that the required training is arranged and attended
