The S&OP Manager leads, manages, and coordinates the strategic forecasting and sales & operations planning processes for all TPMC business units (BU’s). The S&OP Manager is responsible for facilitating the consolidation and alignment of tactical and strategic TPMC BU’s forecasts into a “one number” strategic forecast for the entire business. The S&OP Manager is a member of the Corporate Leadership Team and facilitates the strategic sales & operations planning process between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Production, PPIC, and Procurement. The S&OP Manager is also responsible for managing his demand planning team, supporting the strategic demand planning requirements of the TPMC business communities, and continuously improving the demand planning capabilities.
The S&OP Manager key accountabilities are:
• Support the S&OP business requirements of TPMC Leadership
• Develop and continuously improve the S&OP and Demand Planning capabilities across the organization
• Contributes to TPMC’s strategy and direction by inputting into and actualizing corporate objectives through setting and implementing production plans that ensure the timely availability of critical inventory levels
• Establishing comprehensive supply plan(s), within specified scope of work, taking into consideration BUs needs in terms of quantities and delivery periods. Work with manufacturing locations and planning to properly prioritize production plans. Monitor adherence to plan, and work with plants/vendors to resolve any issues that arise.
• Negotiates with Production regarding quantities and delivery time table and is instrumental in deriving product availability while optimizing production efficiencies.
• Work with PPIC and Warehousing teams to properly prioritize W/H stock replenishments to support sales requirements while meeting W/H capacity constraints while optimizing inventory levels across the multiple locations.
• Responsible of ensuring optimum inventory levels of FG and RM in line with own cash flow and reduction plans and by using various inventory management methods including ROP, FOP, bulky orders, and others as applicable.
• Ensures smooth planning during whole product life-cycle (ramp-up, mature phase, phase out).
• Monitor and liaise with MIS core team regarding the ERP system so as to facilitate the process of receiving, monitoring and dispatching items and ensure effective role within supply chain service provided to internal customers.
• Prepares the annual budgets in own area of responsibility, ensuring that adequate funding provisions are made for all activities and monitors expenditure to ensure budgets are utilized in the most effective and efficient manner and are within approved levels.
