Main Objective
Avertra Corps Enterprise Architect must be certified and have hands-on experience using TOGAF. You will verify that the IT strategy is aligned with the organization’s mission, analyze business properties as well as the external environment, and define all business needs. As the Enterprise Architect, you will be part of the newly created architecture & standards team that is supporting the transformation of our internal and external offerings through the establishment & application of Enterprise Architecture practices including standards, roadmaps, and architectural design for complex projects
Main Job Responsibilities
● Working with the customer to help align the various components of the information technology (IT) architecture (i.e. business architecture, data architecture, application architecture, and technical architecture) with the enterprise's strategic goals and objectives.
● Develops a set of overarching architectural principles that help guide and inform the evolution of systems, processes, infrastructure, and IT operations.
● Create, update and maintain Enterprise Architecture deliverables
● Serve as an advisor to business and IT management on technology strategies
● Support enterprise architecture transformation
● Creates and maintains a catalog of IT assets including computer hardware, storage devices, appliances, networking hardware, system software, applications, utilities, database software, and other IT assets and components.
● Provides guidance and expertise in establishing an enterprise data architecture strategy
● Provides guidance and expertise for incorporating cyber-security into all aspects of IT operations, from design through deployment and end of life.
● Coordinates and/or assists in analyzing and resolving complex technical problems.
● Coordinates and/or develops architectural assets and models using visual diagramming tools, modeling tools, or other software for system architecture and design.
● Coordinates and supports enterprise architecture initiatives including fact-finding and requirement gathering interviews, data entry, document development, editing, and Visio modeling and drawing development.
● Assist in aligning business and enterprise initiatives with Enterprise Architecture
● Audit solutions for compliance with Enterprise Architecture Standards
● Compile, deliver and evangelize IT Technology Roadmaps
● Deliver secure and robust Solution architecture
● Stays abreast of the latest trends and technologies, focusing on any software, services, or hardware that might improve business processes and increase operational efficiency
