The Account Executive plays a role in working with the agency’s diverse clients and departments through :
-Prospects finding and researching
-Ongoing contact
-Meeting participation,
-Proposal writing
-General project and campaign support. The Account Executive also plays an active role in following up on initial sales inquiries made of the Agency for potential business. Additionally, the Account Executive provides operational support for the agency’s office. Client Interaction - 50% Operational/Administrative - 30%
Undertakes other initiatives and projects as may be necessary to fulfill the agency’s obligations to its clients. Communications:
-Takes the lead in developing client and prospect communications, including marketing materials that describe the agency's range of services and collateral material.
-Responsibilities will include general design, content development, printing and mailing.
-Takes the lead in maintaining the website by ensuring information is kept up-to-date and accurate.
Works with Main Agency to implement sponsorship, exhibiting, advertising, and other communications and outreach initiatives. This includes large-scale mailings as well as conference sponsorships, for example.
Works with the Agency to explore methods and strategies to implement the firm’s communications and outreach initiatives in more cost-effective/efficient ways. Printing Delivery & Media Publishing Follow up on all media booking and publishing according to media plans Follow up on delivery dates with printing press Professional Engagement : Regularly monitors selected list serves, blogs, e-newsletters, magazines and other appropriate materials to keep up-to-date on trends and best practices in fundraising and nonprofit management.
Prepares briefings or other materials, based on information gathered, which can be shared with the clients and Account Manager.
Participates in ongoing professional development activities, coordinating such activities with the firm’s principal. Administrative : Monitors and supports the agency's ongoing operations, supplies and materials, including letterhead, postage, etc in cooperation with the administrative assistant.
Monitors and maintains the agency’s general files, resource materials and periodicals. Acts as primary contact for incoming telephone calls for the Agency and responds to the different needs of clients and prospects.
