The role of the Technical HR Assistant/Personnel is to support the effective operation of the NRC HR unit (Technical HR Officer(s)/Personnel and HR Coordinator/Personnel). The Technical HR Assistant/Personnel will be responsible for maintaining of the HR database, issuing of new employment contracts, social security and medical insurance issues. The Technical HR Assistant/Personnel reports to Technical HR Officer/Personnel.

Generic responsibilities
These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The responsibilities shall be short and essential. Details belong in the Work- and Professional Development Plan.
• Adheres to NRC policies and procedures, handbooks and guidelines.
• Provides basic assistance, information and/or training to staff on department’s policies and procedures.
• Develops weekly activity plan.
• Manages progress of own activities.
• Prepares and files accurate records of department activities and ensures all information is accurate and available in time.
• Maintains working relationships with relevant local authorities and/or stakeholders.
Specific responsibilities
These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus and type of programme intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly. The line manager drafts the specific responsibilities and sends them to his/her line manager for approval.
• Responsible for maintaining of HR database (HR Agresso, Orange HRM, excel database), provides information on request and compiles information for HR reporting
• Responsible for maintaining proper documentation and filing (i.e. personnel files (hard and electronic files), timesheets, attendance sheets, overtime, leave requests, etc)
• Supports the line manager with issues related to social security and medical insurance
• Supports staff members in case of accidents
• Any other task as assigned by the line manager
