- Developing business plans for approved business opportunities, covering the management and
administration plan, products and projects, operational overview, marketing and financial plans,
as well as an implementation plan to ensure smooth kick off and success delivery of the new
business line, and managing the preparation of related reports and recommendations.
- Overseeing and guiding the development of technical and financial feasibility studies, financial
models and business plans for the approved business opportunities, and provide
recommendations to management accordingly.
- Managing all activities related to market research, intelligence and analysis, in order to explore
new business opportunities, as well as enhance SMASCO’s service offering.
- Keeping abreast of new technologies, trends and new service offerings related to SMASCO’s
business lines, as well as maintaining awareness of competitor’s business development activities
and offerings, in order to provide recommendations and insights that shall enhance the
achievement of SMASCO’s growth.
- Preparing and recommending action plans to establish new business relationships, entailing
profitability, risk assessment and SWOT analysis, among others, in order to support the success
of these relationships and to enhance the value gained from establishing them.
- Managing the development of business plans for newly incubated business lines, discussing and
finalizing them with their concerned teams, as well as providing them with recommendations
and consultations to support their launch and help them reach the targeted goals.
- Studying and analyzing identified opportunities for building business relationships and
partnerships considering SMASCO’s direction and strategic objectives, in order to set proper
priorities and recommendations.
- Conducting technical feasibility studies for potential business opportunities to support the
management in taking a “go” or “no go” decision.
